Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide individual EMDR therapy using the standard 8-phase protocol with fidelity to the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) model
• Deliver EMDR intensives (extended sessions, 2+ hours) for clients seeking accelerated trauma treatment
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine appropriateness for EMDR and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain a caseload of both standard weekly sessions and intensive formats
• Document all sessions in JaneApp within 24–48 hours of service delivery, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries

Billing & Compliance

• Submit accurate session codes and billing information to support timely insurance claims processing
• Maintain compliance with payer requirements, telehealth regulations, and documentation standards
• Ensure all telehealth sessions are conducted from a HIPAA-compliant environment

Business Development / Practice Growth

• Participate in consultations with prospective EMDR clients and clearly communicate the intensive format, expected outcomes, and cost structure
• Maintain a target utilization rate (sessions per week) as defined by NLT leadership
• Represent the EMDR service line in alignment with NLT's brand and marketing messaging

Professional Development

• Maintain active EMDRIA certification or training status, and pursue ongoing consultation hours as required
• Participate in peer consultation group and individual supervision as applicable
• Stay current with trauma-informed best practices
