Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous English-Spanish-English interpretation during:
- Clinical therapy sessions (occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy, etc.)
- Case management and care coordination meetings
- Program evaluations and progress assessments
- Admission and intake processes
- Family meetings and caregiver training sessions
- Ensure complete and unbiased interpretation without omission, addition, or alteration of information.
- Accurately interpret medical, therapeutic, and rehabilitation-related terminology.
- Translate simple written materials (e.g., consent forms, intake documents, home exercise instructions) as needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
- Document interpretation sessions according to organizational protocols.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, and administrative staff to ensure effective service delivery.
- Alert staff to any cultural or linguistic issues that may impact care.
Salary
$27 - $27 per hour
