NetGO has a current opening for a Security Engineer to support a Federal Government client with their digital transformation and modernization programs.
Responsibilities:
· Plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the client's applications and infrastructure
· Ensures appropriate security controls are in place
· Ensures adherence to the client's policy for information and data security and privacy
(PII)
· Plans and develops security reference models (SRM)
· Responsible for planning and implementing cloud security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms (ex. Salesforce, AWS)
· Provides a common language and methodology for discussing security and privacy in the context of the client's business and performance goals through the sub-architecture view of the overall EA using the SRM
Qualifications:
• BS or greater in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in network and security infrastructure, government experience desired
• Demonstrated IT Leadership capabilities.
• One or more of the following certifications or equivalents: CAP, CISSP, CNDA, CISM
• Govcloud, Fedramp, FISMA, NIST standards experience. Risk Management Framework (RMF), Infrastructure security, Cybersecurity, and McAfee Endpoint Security
