Employment Type: Full-time, no weekends or evenings!
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential advertisers within designated territories associated with "Best of" contests.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to initiate conversations with prospective clients.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand advertisers' needs and present tailored advertising solutions.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with advertisers, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the advertising campaign lifecycle.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the execution of advertising campaigns and meet client expectations.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to secure advertising commitments.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to maximize revenue while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Insight:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to advertising and local contests.
- Analyze sales data, metrics, and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in inside sales, advertising sales, or related roles preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of advertising markets and Best of contest industry is a plus.
