Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews on current and emerging security and privacy threats in medical and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) technologies deployed globally.
- Analyze medical devices, healthcare IT systems, and related software for potential vulnerabilities that could impact healthcare delivery across diverse geographic regions.
- Document findings and produce high-quality technical reports, white papers, and research articles suitable for publication in international academic or industry venues.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, threat intelligence, and regulatory changes in healthcare cybersecurity from multiple international jurisdictions.
- Present research outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences, contributing to the organization's thought leadership in global healthcare security.
- Support the development of security protocols that align with international regulatory standards (EU MDR, FDA, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, with a strong interest in medical device security and privacy in global contexts.
- Experience or coursework in vulnerability research, penetration testing, or security analysis is preferred.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse international audiences.
