Position Overview
In this role, you aren't just a supervisor — you're the engine that drives our on-site success. You'll run day-to-day operations for enhancement and installation projects, ensuring every planting, drainage solution, and hardscape is installed to the highest industry standards and the Nature First quality bar.

Core Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate your installation crew. Set the tone for safety, efficiency, and professional pride.
- Project Execution: Read and interpret job plans and specifications to install plantings, sod, drainage, and hardscapes accurately.
- Operational Management: Plan daily work, coordinate equipment and materials, and run job-site start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Hands-on Labor: Lead by example in digging, tilling, planting, and heavy material handling (bagged and bulk).
- Logistics & Maintenance: Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and well maintained; operate company vehicles safely.
- Administration: Submit daily mobile timesheets, track project hours, and keep clear communication with the office and ownership.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in landscape installation; crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Licensing: Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to obtain an NC Pesticide Applicator's License.
- Technical Skills: Able to read job plans, set grades, and safely operate landscape machinery (skid steer/mini-ex experience a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather, and handle environmental exposures (pollen, thorns, etc.).
- Professionalism: Punctual, dependable, and able to represent Nature First well with homeowners, HOAs, and contractors on-site.
- Background: Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
