Natura Resources is seeking a Manager, Document Control and Records Management to lead the development, implementation, and execution of Natura’s controlled document and records management program in support of the MSR-1 project and related advanced reactor activities. This role is responsible for establishing a practical, scalable, and compliant approach to controlled documents, project records, QA records, document issuance, revision control, distribution, retrieval, retention, and system administration. The Manager will ensure that project and QA documentation is properly controlled, available to users, protected from unintended use, and maintained as objective evidence of work performed.
The Manager, Document Control and Records Management provides leadership for Natura’s document control and records management functions. The role is responsible for translating QA, project, engineering, procurement, licensing, and business requirements into workable document control and records practices.
This position will work closely with project leadership, QA, engineering, licensing, procurement, operations readiness, suppliers, and functional leaders to ensure controlled documents and records are properly identified, reviewed, approved, issued, revised, distributed, retained, and retrievable. The role will support both interim document control methods and long-term EDMS implementation as Natura’s systems and project needs mature.
The Manager will be expected to build reliable processes, train users, identify gaps, support audits and assessments, and ensure documentation practices remain practical, auditable, and aligned with project needs.

Role Authority
The Manager, Document Control and Records Management has authority to establish and administer document control and records management processes for assigned Natura activities. The role has authority to control document issuance, maintain official records repositories, reject incomplete or noncompliant document packages, require correction of document or records deficiencies, and elevate issues that could affect QA compliance, project execution, licensing commitments, supplier documentation, or record integrity.
Responsibilities
Document Control Program Development
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Natura’s controlled document program. Establish practical methods for document identification, classification, numbering, formatting, review, approval, issuance, revision control, status control, distribution, access, retrieval, and retirement.
Ensure controlled document processes support applicable QA program requirements, project execution needs, engineering deliverables, procurement activities, licensing commitments, supplier documentation, and operational readiness.
Records Management and Retention
Establish and maintain records management processes for project records, QA records, procurement records, supplier records, licensing records, engineering records, and other controlled business records. Ensure records are identifiable, complete, legible, retrievable, protected, retained, and dispositioned in accordance with applicable requirements.
Work with QA, project leadership, engineering, procurement, licensing, and suppliers to define required records, retention expectations, objective evidence, and records turnover requirements.
EDMS and Information Management
Support the selection, implementation, administration, and improvement of Natura’s electronic document management system and related interim tools. Define metadata, access controls, workflows, document statuses, revision controls, search/retrieval expectations, and reporting needs.
Maintain effective interim controls where formal systems are not yet fully implemented, including disciplined use of SharePoint, controlled libraries, issuance logs, and approved document repositories.
Procedure, Engineering, Procurement, and Supplier Support
Support the control of procedures, instructions, forms, templates, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, supplier submittals, technical documents, and project deliverables. Ensure users can identify the current approved version and avoid unintended use of obsolete, draft, temporary, or uncontrolled documents.
Support supplier documentation planning, document submittal requirements, records turnover, procurement package completeness, and document control expectations for quality-affecting work.
QA and Project Integration
Work closely with QA to ensure document control and records management practices align with QA program commitments, including NQA-1 Requirement 6, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Criterion VI when invoked, ANS-15.8 where applicable, licensing commitments, and internal project requirements.
Support audits, assessments, corrective actions, surveillances, readiness reviews, and management reviews by providing documentation, records, retrieval support, status reports, and evidence of document control effectiveness.

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to project sites, supplier facilities, stakeholder meetings, or partner locations as needed. The role may require participation in audits, assessments, supplier documentation reviews, project reviews, records reviews, and document turnover activities.
Must be capable of working in office, project site, laboratory, or construction-adjacent environments as needed. Occasional lifting of document boxes or technical materials up to 40 lbs may be required.
