You will be joining a small founding team that:

  • Has successfully built, scaled and sold companies in the past.
  • Built infrastructure that processed billions of dollars.
  • Backed by world-class VCs and operating partners that have invested and built iconic companies.


What we are looking for

  • Identify macro trends in US government, specifically state, local and education
  • Desire and willingness to understand "how the money flows" - we're looking for someone who can dive in and track how budgets are proposed, allocated, and ultimately spent on G&S
  • Research, interview and build a deep understand of how governments procure goods and services
  • How are decisions made
  • Create buyer maps for specific purchases
  • Identify pain points and inefficiencies
  • Someone who is comfortable interviewing government officials to get the truth straight from the source

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience and passion in a similar capacity - please provide examples of research you have done in the past that would align with this role


Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes

  • Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions
  • Comfortable interviewing government officials and company procurement officers


Monthly Salary Range (Toronto):

$3,500—$4,500 CAD


We believe in working in person being the norm with WFH days taken as necessary
