About Nares Law Group LLC

What is our Why?
Behind every case we take on, there is a story of pain, loss, and resilience. Our mission is simple: to provide the strongest possible voice for those harmed by negligence.

Families facing truck wrecks or brain injuries often struggle with overwhelming medical bills.

Many worry about the uncertainty of the future, the cost of long-term care, and whether they will ever regain normalcy.

Insurance companies and large corporations often place profits before people, making recovery even more difficult.

We step in to change that story. With dedicated legal representation, our team ensures families are not left alone in their fight.

Description

Build relationships that help injured families find a hopeful future.

You know how to build trust, recognize a valuable partnership, and turn a thoughtful conversation into a lasting referral relationship. You enjoy sharing a mission you believe in. You also want your work to produce something measurable: more of the right people getting the right help, and a firm with the reach to serve them.

Nares Law Group is looking for an experienced Director of Business Development to help grow and scale our brain injury and catastrophic personal injury practice. You will work closely with our owner, Kaitlin Nares, to develop strategic partnerships, represent our firm, and build a consistent source of qualified referrals.

You must have at least five years of experience as a Director, Vice President, Head, or Manager, including at least two years with a personal injury law firm. You must live in Colorado and be available for required travel.

Why our mission matters

At Nares Law Group, we believe in a hopeful future. A serious injury can change a person’s health, work, family life, and sense of who they are. We help injured people and their families understand what comes next, prove the impact of their injuries, and pursue the resources to rebuild their lives.

Our boutique Colorado firm focuses on traumatic brain injury, truck wrecks, and other catastrophic personal injury cases. We combine careful case development, an understanding of the medicine, and attentive client service. Our commitment to clients continues beyond a settlement through our Value Beyond Limits™ approach to resources, guidance, and support.

Your work will help families reach that care and help attorneys and other professionals recognize when our experience could make a difference. As we expand our referral relationships and national co-counsel and educational work, you will help carry that mission forward.

The person we want to meet

You are empathetic, perceptive, and purposeful. You might describe yourself as an introverted extrovert: you can comfortably enter a room, start meaningful conversations, and present to a group, while valuing thoughtful preparation and deeper connections. What energizes you is having a reason to be there and a mission worth sharing.

You listen well, remember what matters to people, and follow through. You enjoy introducing others to work that can change lives. You bring the commercial judgment to decide where to invest your time and the discipline to turn relationships into results.

You want your expertise recognized, room to take on greater responsibility, and a career that can grow with your contribution. You care deeply about the mission and take ownership of helping the business succeed.

You are director level, you can strategize and create a business development marketing plan based on the firm's desired results, you can manage business development assistants, you can present on your own, you can prioritize and manage your own calendar.

What you will own

  • Strategic partnerships. Identify and assess relationships with attorneys, medical professionals, and other potential referral partners. Evaluate fit, trust, client needs, referral potential, and the value we can offer each other. Recommend where to invest our time and resources.
  • Professional organizations. Select and actively participate in professional organizations and referral groups that generate business opportunities. Build credibility through consistent involvement, useful contributions, and purposeful one-to-one meetings.
  • Presentations and education. Develop and deliver engaging lunch and learns, webinars, and event presentations about our firm, the clients we serve, and when to refer. Coordinate with our attorneys on substantive legal and medical content.
  • Referral development. Build and maintain relationships through thoughtful outreach, meetings, introductions, education, and timely follow-up. Help partners understand the cases we handle and how to connect a potential client with our team.
  • A repeatable growth system. Maintain an organized relationship pipeline, document interactions, set next steps, and track opportunities through referral and intake. Help build a process that can scale with the firm.
  • Measurable results. Work with intake and marketing to track referral sources, qualified leads, signed cases, and the results of memberships, events, and outreach. Use that information to improve the plan and focus on productive relationships.
  • Owner collaboration. Coordinate with Kaitlin on priority relationships, speaking opportunities, and business development strategy. Prepare for meetings, own follow-throughs, and independently advance the relationships entrusted to you.

Required qualifications

  • At least five years of experience as a Director, Vice President, Head, or Manager, including at least two years with a personal injury law firm. You must live in Colorado and be available for required travel.
  • Current Colorado residency and willingness and ability to travel for partner meetings, professional organizations, presentations, conferences, and events.
  • A demonstrated record of developing strategic partnerships and generating qualified referrals or new business.
  • Experience as an active member of professional organizations or referral groups used to generate leads and business relationships.
