Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure an exceptional experience for both clients and staff. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for the beauty industry, team development, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of stylists to consistently deliver outstanding customer service
- Foster a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for staff and clients
- Assist stylists with client services when needed
- Oversee daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing clientele
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and products to maintain a competitive edge
- Interview, hire, onboard, and terminate team members as necessary
- Provide ongoing training and support to new and existing team members
- Plan and facilitate quarterly training sessions
- Manage employee performance, including disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
- Participate in and support salon social media content, promotions, and events to enhance brand visibility and client engagement
- Conduct regular quality control (QC) checks on services, cleanliness, and overall client experience to ensure company standards are consistently met
- Review and approve or decline time-off requests based on business needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a salon management role
- Active Cosmetology or Natural Hair License
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Solid knowledge of hair care services and professional products
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
