Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform salon services & consultations when needed
- Oversee daily salon operations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure salon meets all health and safety standards.
- Train salon staff on hygiene, proper use of equipment, services their initial onboarding..
- Oversee salon sales process (buying products, inventory management, ordering supplies, etc.).
- Oversee scheduling of clients, as well as managing the client experience.
- Maintain a clean and inviting salon environment.
- Respond to client concerns or requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Respond to client complaints / redos in a timely, professional manner.
- Respond to client requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure team members are in uniform standards
- Check stylist open / close forms per shift
- Hiring / Firing
- Team Member Schedule
- Team member Discipline
- Monthly Check Ins
- Recruiting as needed
- Communicate with Social Media Team when a stylist is ready to be on camera
- Quarterly check ins for uniforms, capes
- Update for CEO’s
- Clients
- Client complaints
- Ban clients - add notes when banning
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of Management experience (salon owner or manager), or 5+ years experience as a Stylist.
- Proven sales experience ( Salon Manager).
- Experience in the beauty industry is preferred but not required! We will train you to be successful in your new role with NappStar!
