Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hummus Republic restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the restaurant's staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a restaurant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations and food quality standards.
  • Train and manage the restaurant staff, including hiring, onboarding, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while maintaining profitability.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and productivity.
  • Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent service and quality food.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to heat and cold.

Salary

$18 - $21 per hour
