About the role: MyWellbeing is seeking a dynamic Clinical Director (CD) to partner with the Founder/CEO to ensure that MyWellbeing can support as many people as possible while maintaining excellent clinical quality for both the provider and the client. As our CD, you’ll work closely with the Founder and leadership team to optimize for clinical excellence and ensure that MyWellbeing is a uniquely enriching professional home for clinicians and source of support and wellbeing for clients. You'll bring a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to build the foundation for sustainable expansion while staying aligned with our mission-driven values. Core Responsibilities: Clinical Team Management and Culture Carrying - Adopt and lead a democratic clinical leadership structure; Hire, train, and manage therapist and supervisor talent; Initiate and manage strategic initiatives (ex: quarterly virtual team socials) to fuel a unique culture that cares. Strategic Initiatives and Project Management - Partner with Founder/CEO to launch and scale strategic business initiatives that differentiate MyWellbeing’s clinical offerings and live at the intersection of clinical learning, growth, and skill expansion for the team and revenue generation for the business. Professional Development and Training - Establish systems, processes, and resources to ensure that the clinical team is not only meeting the training requirements for their license, but they are learning new and relevant pieces of information to expand their clinical and business-oriented skillset. Business Development and Relationship Building - Build relationships and manage referral systems and processes for MyWellbeing to refer to complimentary health and wellbeing services and to receive cross referrals for them to us. Outcomes Measurement - Track, analyze, and report on how clinical care is going; Identify when opportunities for improvement are needed; Propose systems, processes to ensure clinical excellence. Currently or previously held a leadership position in a healthcare, tech-enabled services, or mental health tech company. Qualifications - Mental Health Provider (ex: LCSW, PhD, PsyD) licensed in at least New York State (multiple licenses are welcome)3+ years managing a successful private practice. Enthusiasm for balancing high-level strategy with hands-on problem-solving. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Preference for: 3-5+ years in a senior leadership position at a young and growing startup; 1-3+ years as an adjunct professor or with experience teaching/training other providers. Familiarity with technology/health-tech and the various opportunities and limitations. Logistics - Anticipated time commitment: Full-time, 12 month+ commitment Compensation: $90,000-$115,000/year plus equity and benefits Location: Remote. Ideal start date: June 23, 2025, with flexibility and priority on securing the best fit.
