About the Role

The Director of Revenue Development is responsible for creating consistency, accountability, and performance across the company's revenue organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving pipeline generation, improving conversion rates, coaching sales professionals, optimizing prospecting efforts, and ensuring that revenue opportunities are consistently moving through the sales process.

The successful candidate will help transform business goals into daily execution by creating structure, reinforcing processes, and developing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You will oversee the daily execution of the company's business development and sales efforts while ensuring alignment between marketing activities, prospecting efforts, and revenue objectives.


You will work closely with sales professionals to improve outreach effectiveness, strengthen qualification processes, increase appointment conversion rates, and help advance opportunities through the sales cycle.


You will monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the revenue organization.

You will help establish clear expectations, measurable performance standards, and coaching programs that support both individual and team success.


You will also play a key role in evaluating and implementing technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-powered workflows that improve productivity and enhance customer engagement.


What You'll Manage

The Director of Revenue Development will lead the company's business development and sales team, including the Senior Business Development Representative, Territory Sales Executive, and Sales Development Interns.


This role is responsible for coaching, development, accountability, performance management, onboarding, and ensuring consistent execution of the company's sales processes and standards.

Success in this role is demonstrated through a healthy and growing pipeline, improved sales execution, increased conversion rates, stronger CRM discipline, effective coaching and development of team members, and consistent progress toward company revenue objectives.


The ideal candidate creates clarity, drives accountability, removes obstacles, and helps the team perform at a higher level.


Technology Environment

Our team utilizes Zoho CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Claude Co-Work, AI-powered productivity tools, and marketing automation platforms to support prospecting, pipeline management, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, account management, or revenue operations.
  • Experience coaching and developing sales professionals.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales process optimization.
  • Experience with SaaS, HR technology, workforce technology, payroll, lending, staffing, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience leveraging CRM systems and modern sales technologies.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 per year, plus commission — total earning potential up to $200,000 per year.
