Description

Senior Product Manager

Location: Remote (USA) | Type: Full-Time

Who We Are

Muse is a modern operations management platform purpose-built for museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and other cultural institutions.

Our unified platform includes GA and timed-entry ticketing, CRM, fundraising, merchandise & café point-of-sale, front desk operations, integrated payments, event management, and more. We are modernizing a legacy category with software that directly drives revenue, efficiency, and growth for institutions that have historically been underserved.

This is a rare opportunity to help define the product and company in a category that is long overdue for change.

About the Role

Muse is hiring a Senior Product Manager. This is not a maintenance role. This is a ground-floor product leadership position. You’ll operate as a foundational product leader, directly shaping how Muse builds, prioritizes, and ships product. You will own a significant portion of the platform and help define the standards, systems, and culture of the product organization from day one.

You are expected to combine product judgment, execution rigor, and AI leverage to move faster than traditional SaaS teams.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end ownership of a core product domain (e.g., ticketing, CRM, POS, fundraising & event management)

• Product strategy and prioritization tied to measurable business outcomes

• Spec quality: Engineering builds directly from your work

• AI-enabled product development workflows

• Cross-functional execution with engineering, design, and leadership

What You’ll Do

• Own outcomes, not output: Ship product that measurably improves revenue, conversion, operational efficiency, or staff workflows.

• Set direction and make tradeoffs: Act as a product leader—prioritize decisively, with strong judgment under uncertainty.

• Write high-fidelity specs: Clear acceptance criteria, edge cases, data model implications, and rollout plans—minimal ambiguity.

• Operate with AI as a force multiplier: Use AI daily to prototype, write, analyze, and accelerate execution. You are accountable for the output quality.

• Maintain tight feedback loops: Continuously triage customer issues, feature requests, and internal inputs with discipline.

• Partner deeply with engineering: Drive clarity, unblock execution, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS

• Experience building systems of record or operational platforms (ERP, ticketing, POS, CRM, fundraising, etc.)

• Exceptional product judgment: You consistently identify what matters and why

• Elite written communication: Your specs are clear, structured, and build-ready

• Technical fluency: Experience working with APIs, data models, and third-party integrations (e.g., Accounting, Wealth screening, Metabase)

AI Fluency (Required)

You must demonstrate real, hands-on AI leverage in your workflow:

• Prototyping interfaces or flows

• Drafting and refining product specs

• Synthesizing research and customer insights

• Increasing execution speed and decision quality

You should be able to show concrete artifacts that reflect this.

Why Muse:

• Category-defining product in an underserved market

• Strong early traction

• Direct access to founders and decision-making

• High ownership, low bureaucracy

• Opportunity to define product culture from day one

• Competitive salary + benefits
