The Opportunity:

YISE Beauty is seeking an interim Senior Manager, Digital Commerce to manage DTC retention and ecommerce performance, turning customer and channel insights into practical plans that improve conversion, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value. Reporting to the SVP of Digital Commerce, this role translates business priorities into an actionable lifecycle calendar and site optimization roadmap.

This is a hands-on role that combines analytical judgment, lifecycle expertise, and cross-functional execution. The Senior Manager partners with Creative, Marketing, Operations, the Paid Media team, and external development partners to deliver coordinated campaigns and a strong customer experience.

Description of role:

Retention & Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Manage the email, SMS, and subscription marketing plan within the SVP’s direction, including campaign priorities, automated flows, segmentation, personalization, and testing in Klaviyo.
  • Set campaign objectives and audiences, develop briefs, and review builds and test sends; guide the Senior Coordinator on scheduling, QA, and deployment.
  • Identify and test opportunities to grow email and SMS lists, reduce churn, increase repeat purchase, and improve subscription retention.
  • Deliver a weekly retention recap covering email, SMS, and subscription performance against the prior week, prior year, and YTD averages, with clear drivers and next actions.
  • Track Klaviyo-attributed campaign revenue against YTD benchmarks, identify effective creative, and use findings to improve future briefs; distinguish attributed revenue from overall business performance.

Ecommerce Performance & Conversion:

  • Manage a prioritized CRO and site testing plan using customer journey, product, merchandising, and performance insights to improve conversion and average order value.
  • Define test hypotheses, success measures, and next steps; work with the Senior Coordinator and development partners on implementation and evaluate results.
  • Oversee launch and promotional readiness, merchandising priorities, and customer experience; guide the Senior Coordinator’s routine Shopify updates and QA.
  • Prioritize development requests within available partner hours, escalating material site issues, capacity constraints, and tradeoffs to the SVP.
  • Coordinate with Operations on product availability and inventory issues affecting site promotions and the customer experience.

Performance Marketing Partnership & Analytics:

  • Partner with the Paid Media team on acquisition performance, campaign messaging, landing page needs, and creative test learnings; translate insights into site and lifecycle improvements.
  • Coordinate DTC briefs and campaign readiness with the paid-media owner, who leads media buying, ad-platform execution, and paid-channel budget optimization.
  • Maintain DTC dashboards and analyze site, lifecycle, subscription, and acquisition data using Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and available attribution tools.
  • Identify trends, explain performance variances, and recommend actions to the SVP; reconcile differing platform measures before drawing conclusions.

Cross-Functional Planning:

  • Build clear work-back schedules with Marketing and Creative, including brief requirements, asset delivery dates, approvals, QA, and launch milestones.
  • Coordinate development and CRO partners within agreed scopes, maintaining clear requirements, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Recommend improvements to workflows and tools; bring major strategy, budget, resourcing, and scope decisions to the SVP.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Progress against agreed DTC conversion, average order value, repeat purchase, retention revenue, and subscription retention goals.
  • Actionable weekly reporting and a consistent testing cadence with documented findings and next steps.
  • Accurate, timely campaign and site launches, with clear approvals and early escalation of risks.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of relevant ecommerce, DTC, growth, or lifecycle marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of retention programs and site optimization initiatives.
  • Hands-on Shopify and Klaviyo experience, including segmentation, automated flows, campaign QA, merchandising, and testing.
  • Working knowledge of performance marketing, acquisition metrics, attribution, and the relationship between paid media, site conversion, and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and web analytics such as GA4, and the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating creative and technical partners and guiding junior colleagues; strong project management and communication skills.
