Job Title: Lead Teacher

Location: Ms Pats Place to Grow Learning Academy

Salary Range: $37,000 to $42,000 per year

Job Overview:

As a Lead Teacher at Ms Pats Place to Grow Learning Academy, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young learners. You will be responsible for overseeing a classroom, creating engaging lesson plans, and ensuring a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children

- Provide a safe and positive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and development

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment

- Attend professional development opportunities to continue to grow and improve as an educator

Requirements:

- Knowledge of child development and educational best practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-At least 12 units in Child Development; Child, Family, & Community; and ECE Program and Curriculum with at least six months of experience working in a licensed childcare center

-Criminal Record Clearance

-Mandated Reporter Training certificate

-Health Screening and TB

-Immunization records (MMR, Tdap

- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
