Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and monitor bottling machinery and equipment safely and effectively (machinery includes Tech Long blower, filler, water center system, labeler, conveyor belt, palletizer, and packer).
  • Start equipment promptly when required and make necessary tool changes when necessary
  •  Perform routine visual quality checks using a variety of gauges including micrometers, calipers, metric rulers, and other equipment parts and properly document findings of any issues
  • Perform preventative machinery maintenance if approved
  • Perform production standards and maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the production facility.
  • Effectively communicate with all team members and effectively work in a team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability and willingness to learn water bottling computerized equipment and cross-train with other department functions.
  • Ability to handle small parts of equipment and objects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet production goals
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and adaptable to change 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use basic mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and propose solutions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0 to 1+ years of production experience

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Onsite, 24-hour facility with multiple schedules
  • Shifts: 1st: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm; 2nd: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm; 2nd split: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Overtime if required and approved.
  • Flexibility needed for on-call and short-noticed work, weekend work, special events, or high-volume periods.
  • General production facility environment
  •  Repetitive tasks for extended periods
  •  Standing and walking for long periods
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Travel 10-25% required; primarily within local and Southeast regions, and other regions if needed, to participate in sales and marketing events.

Salary

$14 - $14 per hour
