This position serves as a primary point of accountability for study execution and is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on scope, timeline, quality, and budget. The Senior Clinical Project Manager will partner closely with sponsors, cross-functional teams, clinical sites, vendors, and internal leadership to successfully execute clinical programs. Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full lifecycle oversight of Phase I–IV clinical trials, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for study execution.
  • Act as the main client contact, developing strong sponsor relationships and providing high-touch, customized service.
  • Advise sponsors on clinical strategy, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Safety.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and project deliverables.
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, and change orders.
  • Ensure clinical activities comply with ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit and inspection readiness and oversee appropriate quality-control activities.
  • Drive efficient study start-up, enrollment, execution, and close-out activities.
  • Manage vendors, clinical sites, investigators, and other external partners.
  • Monitor site performance, enrollment progress, and data-quality metrics.
  • Lead governance meetings, project status updates, and executive-level reporting.
  • Escalate critical issues with clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Contribute to proposals, bid defenses, and feasibility assessments as needed.
  • Support account growth through strong client relationships, satisfaction, and repeat business.
  • Mentor junior Project Managers and clinical team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, flexible, and high-performing team environment.
  • Contribute to process improvement, SOP development, and organizational scaling.
