Moving Forward Counseling is a mental health practice that is growing and expanding our offerings to offer more clinical opportunities in order to help those seeking mental health treatment. We strive to support our therapists with their needs, and operate from a model that if the clinician feels happy, valued and supported, this will translate into better results and care for their clients.

Moving Forward Counseling is expanding and needs an experienced therapist for our new Pleasant Grove, Utah office! The Pleasant Grove location offers outpatient therapy and medication management to children, adolescents, and adults.

This is a new office so we need a therapist who has been working at a group/agency practice that has an established caseload they can bring with them.

CMHC, LCSW, LMFT, ACMHC, CSW or MFT welcome to apply.

Part-time 10 - 20 sessions/week. Full-time 21 - 32 sessions/week.

You make your schedule. We need people willing to work at least 15 hours per week.

This can be broken up into working days, evenings and/or weekends. In this role, you can work strictly doing general outpatient therapy sessions. Most of the clients come to see therapists in-person but there are clients who are open to remote sessions. If you want to see clients remotely, you must be licensed in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral therapy sessions with children, adolescents, adults and families to address mental health issues.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support children with developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed mental health counselor
• Proficient in behavioral therapy
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
• Skills in crisis intervention and motivational interviewing
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis and special education practices
• Ability to provide patient care and assessment in diverse settings

Fully licensed clinicians are paid $55.00 - $65.00 per session depending on the experience and training you can bring to the practice. ($65.00 - $75.00 for intake sessions) Associate licensed clinicians make $50.00 - $55.00 per session, DOE.
