Mountain View Animal Hospital is a dog and cat focused veterinary hospital located in Canton, GA in the Canton Exchange shopping center.  We are in search of an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, motivated veterinary technician to join our team full time. This person should have a passion for patient and client care, a willingness to learn and most of all be a team player. Registered technician applicants are preferred but experienced technicians will be considered.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician who is proficient in the following skills: taking patient histories, client education, performing dentals, animal handling and restraint, obtaining blood samples, placing IV catheters, performing in-house lab work, digital x-ray, caring for hospitalized pets, surgical assistance, computer skills,  and client communication over the phone. Applicants must be professional and dependable, with reliable transportation.

Our hospital hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and we are closed on weekends and all major holidays. Position Requirements:

• A good attitude!
• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or 5 years experience.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment. 
• The ability to lift heavy furry objects weighing up to 75lbs
