Fuel Kitchen at Atlanta Motorsports Park is looking for energetic, reliable, and service-driven Restaurant Servers to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide friendly, attentive, and professional food and beverage service to members and guests within Fuel Kitchen. Restaurant Servers may also be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as part of their assigned duties. Our environment is a little different from a traditional restaurant. Atlanta Motorsports Park hosts race weekends, member activities, private events, and special functions throughout the year. While the primary role is Restaurant Server, employees may occasionally be asked to assist in an Event/Banquet Server capacity based on business and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Restaurant Operations
• Greet members and guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide menu information and recommendations as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to questions or concerns professionally.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency when delivering food and beverages.
• Clear and reset tables promptly for incoming guests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas throughout the shift.
• Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and general cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
Beverage & Alcohol Service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as assigned.
• Provide beverage service from designated bar and service areas when needed.
• Verify identification and legal drinking age as required.
• Follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and appropriately address or report concerns regarding responsible service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked beverage service areas.
• Comply with all applicable alcohol-service requirements and pouring-permit regulations.
POS & Payment Processing
• Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Process electronic and credit/debit card transactions accurately.
• Follow all POS and payment-processing procedures.
• Promote menu items, specials, and other offerings when appropriate.
• Fuel Kitchen operates as a cashless facility; cash handling is not required.
Compensation
• Servers are paid $8.00/hr plus tips
Additional Department Support
• The primary responsibility of this position is Restaurant Server duties within Fuel Kitchen.
• Based on business and operational needs, Restaurant Servers may occasionally be asked to assist the Events Department in an Event/Banquet Server capacity.
• When assisting with an event, employees may be responsible for banquet food and beverage service, event setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup as assigned.
• Employees are expected to work cooperatively across Food & Beverage operations when additional support is needed.
Teamwork, Safety & Compliance
• Work collaboratively with other Restaurant Servers, kitchen staff, management, event personnel, and other departments as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety requirements.
• Follow Fuel Kitchen and Atlanta Motorsports Park policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with members, guests, and coworkers.
Qualifications & Experience
• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Previous beverage or alcohol-service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with POS systems and order entry preferred.
• Ability and willingness to perform both food and beverage-service responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively and assist other Food & Beverage operations when needed.
Requirements & Working Conditions
• Must meet all legal age requirements applicable to assigned alcohol-service duties.
• Must obtain and maintain a current City of Dawsonville Alcohol Pouring Permit when assigned alcohol-service duties.
• Weekend, evening, event, and holiday availability is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and lift up to 25+ pounds.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and motorsports environment.
