We are seeking a motivated and hard-working lead carpenter to join our team

Located in Ithaca, NY and service the surrounding areas within 45min

Responsibilities:

-Leading the carpentry aspects of a project, ensuring it is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedule.

-Supervising and guiding, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and motivating the crew.

-Strong carpentry skills and knowledge to complete framing, siding, windows/doors, decks, finishing, and other carpentry-related work.

-Creating material lists, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring materials are used efficiently and responsibly.

-Inspecting carpentry work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications, and addressing any issues that arise.

-Effectively communicating with the Owner, other trades, and the client regarding project progress, issues, and any necessary changes.

-Identifying and resolving any carpentry-related issues or challenges that arise during the project.

Qualifications:

-5 years experience in residential remodeling

-Proficient with power tools, and assembly/installation of most building materials

-Strong work ethic and reliability

-Organized

-Ability to work as part of a team

-Ability to work in the outdoor elements: heat, cold, harsh weather

-Physical stamina and strength

-Driver's license and reliable vehicle
