Medication Assisted Treatment Opioid Treatment Program

Position: Part Time Weekend Nurse (Flat Rate)

Summary: Responsible for maintaining an adequate level of nursing for the program’s dispensing and medical operations. Under supervision of the medical director.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

1. Administers medication accurately and efficiently.
2. Maintains accurate medication records including daily, monthly, and biennial medication logs.
3. Completes nursing notes as needed.
4. Maintains license to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina.
5. .Communicates verbally or otherwise client medication needs and progress to the medical director.*
6. NCPMP
7. Responsible for attendance and punctuality at work.*
8. Responsible for a professional demeanor.*
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OR

Masters in nursing/Registered nursing degree; and one year related experience and/or Training.

Certificates and Licenses:

CPR/FIRST AID required
