Morris Eye Associates, LLC is seeking a Full Time Optician! Founded by Dr. Constantinos Bacas, Morris Eye Associates is a full scope, comprehensive practice that will provide care to patients of all ages!

We are proud to serve as a regional leader in ocular surface disorders and myopia management in Northern New Jersey. Our state-of-the-art dry eye suite and expertly trained doctors place us at the forefront of Dry Eye Disease treatment. For our youngest patients, we collaborate closely with pediatricians to provide advanced, in-house myopia therapies—raising the standard for pediatric vision care in our community.

 

Ideal Candidates are:

 

• Experienced with the full scope role of an Optician, including, but not limited to: providing frame/lens design guidance to patients based on their lifestyle and occupational needs, frame styling, in office minor repairs, dispensing finished product and providing final adjustments, other onsite lab work
• Detail oriented and able to creatively problem solve
• Experienced in sales.
• Experienced with in office finishing. Experience with a Santinelli LEXCE Trend 1 or equivalent edger is preferred but not required – relevant training will be provided.
• Experienced with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) software. Prior experience with Nextech is ideal, but not a requirement - training will be provided.
• Possessing a current New Jersey state optician’s license. While being a licensed optician is not a requirement, it is strongly preferred.
