Clinical Role

• Manage patient flow
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Prepare dental materials per orthodontic procedure
• Take dental x-rays, scan patients, take photos
• Assist with orthodontic chairside procedures
• Prepare teeth for orthodontic bonding
• Place and remove separators and bands
• Initial seating of orthodontic appliances
• Remove, size, place and secure orthodontic archwires
• Maintain OSHA protocols
• Maintain sterilization protocols
• Maintain treatment area and units
• Record keeping of procedures and correspondence in treatment card

Practice Building

• Coordinate with internal and external strategies
• Participate in staff meetings
• Work cohesively with other team members

Education / Experience

• Dental Assistant License: NJ
• X-ray License: NJ
• CPR certification

Schedule- Partime

• Monday 9am-5pm
• Tuesday 9am-6pm
• Friday 8am-5pm
• 1 hour lunch
