Residential House Cleaner – Full and Part-time Positions
Responsibilities, Duties, and Expectations:
General house cleaning - dusting, vacuuming, mopping, occasionally hand washing small floor areas. Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, walls, floors, fixtures, windows, doors, stairs. Disposing of trash. Making beds, washing/drying/folding linens, towels, occasional linen ironing for certain customers.
Cleaning homes that are occupied, Airbnb's, and deep-cleaning vacant homes. Some post construction cleaning (cleaning drywall dust, debris, etc.). Garage cleaning and basement/attic cleaning occasionally - special request. No exterior work beyond front entrance doors or windows that fold inside.
All supplies are provided and owned by Mopology. Minimum visit to home office 1x per week to refill supplies, exchange laundry, and submit any payments collected from customers.
You will be given a kit of supplies and equipment. It is your responsibility to maintain these items and keep your vacuum cleaned and disinfected between homes. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs of repairs
Mobile app required for clocking in and out, and viewing your upcoming job schedule.
Open communication on schedule adjustments and availability. We assume you are available to work during the times you specify. Most cleaners on our team work Monday through Friday, with appointments starting as early as 6 am. Home cleaning staff is done approximately by 4pm daily, though occasionally jobs will run later.
You will be expected to work alone or with a team. Cleaners are not scheduled alone until training is completed, or experienced cleaners can provide references to progress sooner. Small homes are expected to be cleaned solo, while larger homes, deep cleaning, and other projects may be done as a team.
Pay is biweekly on Fridays, direct deposit.
Job Qualifications Include:
Ability to drive to and from various job sites, including but not limited to up to an hour to surrounding towns
Reliable, great work ethic, ability to communicate effectively
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
Detail oriented, pays attention to details at each customer’s location, with extra attention to any special requests
Ability to follow verbal direction
Ability to work alone and/or in a team
Able to adapt to schedule changes and excellent time management skills
Must be able to pass drug screening test and background check
