Google defines a "moonshot" as an extremely ambitious and innovative project. Though Moonshot Games started as just one retail store in downtown Noblesville, we now have a second location in Plainfield, a Youtube stream Rip and Ship by Moonshot, we host private parties in themed rooms, sell Pokemon and Magic and much much more. Today we represent more than just a handful of game stores. Ours is a place for people without a place. A safe spot to visit, play, laugh, and learn within a loving, supportive community. Yet this dream wouldn't have become reality without our amazing staff and customers, because it was too big to build by our will alone. It was Noblesville's dream, but we will continue to serve our community with plenty more big ideas as we reach for the stars.

Moonshot Rips Live Stream Host

This is a part-time, in-person position at our Noblesville, IN store — perfect for someone who knows MTG or Pokemon inside and out and loves engaging with people. You’ll be one of the faces of our stream: opening packs, interacting with chat, keeping the energy up, and ensuring every customer’s cards are safely and accurately put away.

Key Responsibilities

• Host live streams and interact with customers during pack openings
• Keep chat friendly, fun, and safe for viewers of all ages while maintaining interest during slower periods
• Suggest products to new viewers without high-pressure sales to existing viewers
• Pull, verify, and open the packs accurately based on customer orders without damaging cards
• Open and package cards based on policies in a consistent manner that protects a customer’s property
• Operate basic streaming tools (OBS Studio, cameras, mics, lighting) or follow established procedures if something needs a reset
• Monitor stream health (audio, video, chat overlays, order queue) and escalate technical issues when needed
• Maintain a neat, organized stream space, including start of shift and end of shift procedures
• Follow brand and community guidelines as well as platform rules
• Document any issues for management or admin to address post-stream

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and/or Pokemon — card names, showcase variants, general card pricing, formats, and current product lines
• A reliable and punctual, detail-oriented personality who takes pride in doing things right the first time
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming on-camera presence
• Comfortable working late-night hours (weekend shifts can run until 2am)
• Able to maintain a family-friendly tone on stream — no cursing, adult topics, or innuendo

Bonus Points For

• Previous streaming, video content creation, or Rip & Ship experience
• Familiarity with Twitch and YouTube live chat tools, OBS Studio, and Google Sheets a plus
• Experience in a retail or customer-facing role
• Share your favorite Magic or Pokemon card or Commander when applying for this position
