We have immediate openings for licensed therapists (Psy.D./Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist, LPA, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMSW), and post-doctoral fellows. Therapists will demonstrate their expertise using appropriate therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques with children and adolescents seeking individual and family sessions.

Description

We are looking for clinicians whose strengths include:

  • Experience working with children/adolescents (ages 3 and up) and their families using evidence-based interventions including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training, Child-Centered Therapy, Alderian, Theraplay, ERP, DBT, & evidence-based play therapy techniques
  • Treatment planning and diagnostic knowledge
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members & community


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competency in utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches. Specialty training is encouraged.
  • Provide services within the highest standard of professional ethics and sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity
  • Routine completion of required clinical documentation and scheduling of clients
  • Participation in staff meetings, supervision/consultation
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including assertive communication
  • Interest in strong professional relationships with fellow team members
  • Must be punctual in reporting to work and completing documentation
  • Be organized and detail-oriented

Qualifications

  • A master's or doctorate degree from a nationally accredited program must be completed
  • Current Texas license or license eligible in Texas (licensed psychologist, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMSW)
  • Availability for at least 15 client hours/week part-time or 25-30 client hours for full-time
  • Ability to work independently, yet ask for help when needed
  • Establish client goals, monitor progress, and modify the client's treatment plans every 90 days
  • Active licensure and malpractice insurance are required.

Willing to consider an associate clinician who is able to obtain licensure in 2-4 months or a postdoctoral candidate with at least two years of direct client contact.

Salary

$45,000 - $70,000 per year
