Do you already manage your own household and/or find satisfaction in creating tidy, well-ordered living spaces? Are you the one your friends call when they need help decorating or reorganizing? Are you new to or re-entering the workforce and looking to build your project management and other professional skills with a supportive company? If any or all of the above are true, Momcierge may have the perfect opportunity for you!

Momcierge is a woman-owned, small business, and we are currently looking for a thoughtful and dynamic Home Management Assistant to join our growing team of professionals. We’ve been providing household management services to over-scheduled, overworked individuals and families around the Atlanta Metro area for the last 10 years. We take the “to-do” out of to-do lists, by tackling our clients’ everyday tasks. Momcierge offers them more than a tidy home - we bring them a sense of serenity that affords them invaluable extra time for themselves and their families.

Exact day-to-day responsibilities are dependent on specific client needs, but a typical day on the job includes…

• Tidying indoor/outdoor living spaces and light cleaning, i.e., sanitizing surfaces, light sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins (we generally do not mop, scrub, or perform other “deep cleaning” tasks)

  • Loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Making beds and changing sheets
  • Organizational projects such as reorganizing closets, changing out seasonal clothing, and setting up/improving various household organizational systems (e.g., laundry, schoolwork, home office, garage/basement/other storage spaces)
  • Running errands for clients (e.g. shopping, dry-cleaning, post office, etc.)
  • Assisting clients with prep for and/or tidying up after out-of-town guests, parties, and other special events
  • Assisting home managers and other home management assistants with larger home projects
  • Putting up and taking down seasonal decor
  • Special seasonal and holiday-related projects
  • Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned

You could be the ideal candidate if you possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Friendly, reliable, customer service-oriented, and trustworthy
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • A high degree of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • A flexible working style with the ability to work independently yet also be a collaborative, can-do team player - we regularly work alongside clients and other service providers such as nannies and landscapers, and each other!
  • The accountability and maturity to complete tasks/projects largely unsupervised and follow them through to completion
  • Excellent situational awareness and ability to adapt quickly to new or changing circumstances and a wide range of people
  • The confidence to make suggestions and offer additional services based on observation of client needs
  • Previous home management experience preferred, but we train everyone to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations using time-tested Momcierge methods

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on your feet for up to 3-4 hours at a time
  • Ability to complete sometimes physically demanding household chores, including pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and removing/replacing items overhead
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

All Home Management Assistants are required to pass a basic background check, possess a valid Driver’s License, and have their own reliable transportation during working hours as a condition of hire.

Here’s what we offer:

  • Highly competitive pay and $5/hour raise after successfully completing an initial 90-day probationary period
  • A flexible work schedule after probationary period (a typical schedule is 2-3 days a week, 2 clients per day)
  • Discretionary year-end bonus based on performance, ability to earn Momcierge services for yourself, and other compensation incentive programs throughout the year
  • An onboarding experience and training program that sets you up for success!
  • The opportunity to build a wide range of project management and leadership skills
  • Lots of professional growth possibilities and the ability to develop your career in a rapidly growing company
  • Monthly health insurance stipend
  • Organizational leadership who “get it” - while our first priority is always to provide top-notch service to our clients, we also think it’s super important that our talented team of professionals have fun, engage their creative side, and be recognized and rewarded for great work… and we look for opportunities to help make that happen!
