Modsy Senior 3D Engineer Remote · Full time

Do you love 3D? We do! The Modsy team are builders at heart. We love complex geometry and materials that give a scene the depth and fidelity to look indistinguishable from reality. We love automation and procedural systems to help untrained users create scenes that only the best 3D artists can achieve. When we say, "we love," we mean it. If 3D development, a talented team, and game-changing technology is what excites you, you will find it here.

The Role

We are looking for a 3D Engineer to join Modsy’s dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to get in early with a senior, collaborative group – building the future of 3D home visualization.

Modsy’s 3D technology runs in the front and back-ends (Babylon.js, Unreal) and is superpowered by services running in the cloud using Python/C++ and hosted in AWS. For this front-end focused role, the preferred languages are TypeScript and JavaScript. Knowledge in these areas is ideal, but we know that the best 3D engineers can be proficient in most environments.

Whether you love to dive into algorithmic details of automated 3D modeling tools, manipulate 3D objects, or build awesome 3D user interfaces, there will be something to sink your teeth in.

To be successful, your 3D programming and math skills must be coupled with a passion for 3D tools and “the home”. You will also bring a growth mindset towards collaborating within the dynamics of a startup team. In return, you’ll have a space to share your ideas alongside a CEO who has created 3 computer visualization companies and a CTO who ran core visualization technology for the entirety of Autodesk.

This position is remote, open to candidates legally able to work in the US, Canada, or EMEA.
