The Marketing Intern position is a part time, remote work position working with leaders in the technology field. The position is offering paid hourly work per week in addition to college credit.

Must be a US Citizen and must currently live within the United States to qualify.

Marketing Intern Responsibilities

• Managing all social media platforms
• Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
• Performing analysis and research on the latest trends and innovations regarding cybersecurity
• Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas
• Preparing detailed promotional presentations
• Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events
• Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content
• Contributing to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content
• Maintaining a marketing database
• Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents and templates
• Understanding company solutions and brand
• Creativity and creation of captivating content

Minimum Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms
• Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
• Graphics Design, Microsoft Powerpoint experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a passion for marketing
• Outstanding multitasking abilities
• Organization and time management skills

Desirable Experience or Knowledge

• Extensive knowledge of Marketing strategies and tools within social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Existing knowledge (or strong desire to learn) of cybersecurity terms, challenges, and solutions is a plus
• Knowledge of Wordpress, HTML, and Markdown (MD) language is a plus
