
The Entry-Level Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, entering patient and insurance information, counting and labeling medications, managing inventory, vaccinations, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are reliable, organized, and interested in starting a career in pharmacy.

Role and Responsibilities
● Participate in the daily operations of the pharmacy while under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
● Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
● Supporting related clinical pharmacy tasks such as vaccinations, patient adherence, MTM, and Point of care Testing (PoCT).
● Proficient in prescription processing, filling, check out, and related healthcare record maintenance
● Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
● Organizes medications for the pharmacist to dispense by transcribing medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; maintaining clinical services and other pharmaceutical therapies.
● Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information.
● Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Walk 3+ miles a day & lift 30 pounds
● Licensed Pharmacy Technician (PTCB recommended)
● Enthusiastic and friendly team players
● 16+ hours/week availability
● Bilingual Spanish, Hmong, Laos, Cambodian, Tagalog (recommended)
Preferred Skills
● Microsoft office, 40+ WPM
● PTCB certified immunization administration
● BLS
$18 - $20 per hour
