Pharmacy Technicians play a crucial role in the daily operations of a pharmacy, working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks that ensure the efficient functioning of the pharmacy, as well as the safety and well-being of patients.

Role and Responsibilities
● Participate in the daily operations of the pharmacy while under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
● Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
● Supporting related clinical pharmacy tasks such as vaccinations, patient adherence, MTM, and Point of care Testing (PoCT).
● Proficient in prescription processing, filling, check out, and related healthcare record maintenance
● Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
● Organizes medications for the pharmacist to dispense by transcribing medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; maintaining clinical services and other pharmaceutical therapies.
● Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information.
● Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Walk 3+ miles a day & lift 30 pounds
● Licensed Pharmacy Technician (PTCB recommended)
● Enthusiastic and friendly team players
● 16+ hours/week availability
● Bilingual Spanish, Hmong, Laos, Cambodian, Tagalog (recommended)
Preferred Skills
● Microsoft office, 40+ WPM
● PTCB certified immunization administration
● BLS
$17 - $20 per hour
