Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed catering sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including corporate clients, wedding planners, and event venues.
- Conduct sales presentations and client meetings to showcase our catering services and offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to develop customized menus and proposals that align with client needs and preferences.
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and event execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a seamless experience from booking to event day.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote our catering services and build a strong client base.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, or event planning.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
