About the Position
This position is designed for someone who already understands the hospitality and catering industry but is looking to develop their sales skills through hands-on experience, coaching, and mentorship.
You do not need years of sales experience. We are looking for someone with the right hospitality foundation, attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.
The right person will be coachable, curious, organized, personable, and hungry to grow. You should be excited about learning from experienced sales professionals and developing the skills necessary to eventually manage your own clients and events.
This is an entry-level sales position—but not an entry-level hospitality position.
Hospitality or catering experience is required. We want someone who understands the pace of events, the importance of exceptional service, and what it takes to create a great client experience.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous hospitality and/or catering experience.
- Is interested in building a career in catering sales and events.
- Is highly coachable and welcomes feedback.
- Actively seeks mentorship and professional development.
- Is eager to learn from experienced sales professionals.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude.
- Is comfortable communicating with clients by phone, email, and in person.
- Is organized and highly detail-oriented.
- Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
- Is comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
- Is competitive with themselves and motivated to improve.
- Understands that sales is about building relationships and solving problems, not simply selling a product.
- Wants to grow with a company rather than simply find their next job.
