Description

Run the Clinic Today. Build the System That Scales It Tomorrow.

Modam Health is looking for a hands-on operational leader to run clinic operations in our partner markets — and then build the playbooks, standards, and infrastructure that make every launch after it faster and cleaner. If you want to be the person on the ground and the person designing the system, this is that role.

About the Role

The Director, Platform Operations & Implementation is the on-the-ground operational leader for Modam Health’s partner clinic markets. In the early stage of each partnership, this role directly manages local clinic operations — working alongside in-market management teams, driving day-to-day performance, and serving as Modam’s operational presence on the ground.

As markets mature, the role evolves toward implementation leadership, launch execution, and building the centralized infrastructure that enables consistent performance across a growing network. This is a role for someone who can run a clinic operation today and build the system that scales it tomorrow, leading new clinic activation activity among stakeholders across the health system, Modam Health, and vendors.

This role provides oversight, coordination, and accountability to ensure workstreams stay on track and do not create launch risk.

What You’ll Do

In-Market Clinic Operations Management

  • Serve as Modam’s operational lead in new partner markets, working directly with local management teams to drive clinic performance
  • Own day-to-day operations — staffing, workflows, patient experience, productivity — and resolve issues in real time, before they reach the health system or the patient
  • Own market-level performance metrics and hold local teams to Modam’s standards as a trusted partner, not a corporate overseer

Implementation Execution & Launch Readiness

  • Lead implementation workstreams for new clinic openings and partner deployments, managing timelines, milestones, and issue resolution across all operational functions
  • Coordinate provider onboarding and pre-launch workforce readiness with health system teams
  • Own go-live coordination, escalate launch risks to the right partner stakeholders, and partner with the VP, Partner Operations on the handoff into sustained operations

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Drive integrated execution and accountability across Development, Partner, and Corporate Operations — plus clinical, recruiting, training, and technology — throughout the launch lifecycle
  • Support new client diligence and implementation planning

Centralized Playbooks & Operational Infrastructure

  • Build and maintain implementation playbooks, SOPs, and operating standards drawn from direct in-market experience
  • Standardize and continuously improve launch processes so each new clinic and market runs better than the last, reducing market-to-market variability as the network scales

What You’ll Bring

  • 6–10+ years of experience in ambulatory, urgent care, or multi-site healthcare operations — including direct management of clinic-level operations
  • Hands-on experience leading or significantly contributing to healthcare implementation, clinic launches, or operational integration
  • Demonstrated ability to manage in-market operations while simultaneously building systems and infrastructure for scale
  • Familiarity with provider credentialing and enrollment processes — including how to manage timelines and escalate risk when execution sits with a partner organization
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Proven ability to build repeatable systems and documentation in fast-moving environments
  • Startup, growth-stage, or MSO experience a strong plus

Experience We’re Looking For

  • Urgent care, ambulatory, or outpatient healthcare operations
  • Healthcare implementation and integration
  • Provider onboarding, credentialing, and enrollment
  • Multi-site healthcare operations
  • New clinic launches and operational readiness

What Success Looks Like

  • Successful clinic launches with strong operational readiness
  • Repeatable implementation and launch playbooks
  • Strong cross-functional execution and accountability
  • Efficient credentialing and provider onboarding processes
  • Scalable operational infrastructure supporting future partner growth

Why Join Modam Health

  • Opportunity to help build a modern healthcare platform from the ground up
  • Direct involvement with leading health system partnerships
  • High ownership and visibility within a rapidly growing company
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and fast-moving culture
  • Ability to shape future operational and integration models
  • Competitive compensation & benefits with long-term growth opportunity
