Company Overview


MOD BIKES is an Austin, Texas-based electric bicycle brand offering premium,

powerful, and versatile e-bikes. Designed in-house, our bicycles and accessories

are sold nationwide through our online store and South Austin showroom. In

addition to producing exceptional bikes, we pride ourselves on outstanding

customer service, ensuring that every member of the MOD Squad becomes a

customer for life.


Our team is small (~10 employees), collaborative, and diverse, often wearing

multiple hats to meet our goals. As a growing and innovative company, we rely on

agility and teamwork from every team member.


Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Store Sales Manager with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience and a proven track record in a sales leadership role. This individual will be responsible for driving in-store sales, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and leading by example. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for engaging with customers, building relationships, and helping a growing brand expand its reach through both sales and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities



Customer Engagement: 

Actively engage with customers in-store and at events to promote the MOD BIKES experience.


Sales Leadership: 

Lead and mentor the showroom sales team, set sales goals, track performance, and coach team members to exceed targets. 


● Sales Execution:

Drive sales of bikes and accessories through expert product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and tailored recommendations


● Customer Relationship Management: 

Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing customers to foster long-term brand loyalty.


● Event Management: 

Represent MOD BIKES at community and promotional events, managing planning, logistics, and on-site engagement.


● Business Development & Local Marketing: 

Collaborate with MOD- team on creative marketing and promotional initiatives to engage with the local community.


● Transaction Management

Accurately document transactions and customer information using digital

platforms such as Shopify and CRM Tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, including time in a sales leadership or management role

  • Experience using digital tools for CRM, project management, and communication
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced retail and event-driven environment


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage in a sales or event setting for extended
  • periods.
  • Must be available to work during operation hours, including weekends and holidays.
