We are seeking to fill a part-time property Maintenance Technician position to support an expanding portfolio of residential properties. Benefits:

Job Type:

• Part-time
• 1099 Contractor

Pay:

• $20-25 an hour

Expected hours:

• Up to 20 per week

Responsibilities:

• Maintain residential property appearance and perform property inspections
• Perform maintenance duties such as but not limited to: Cleaning, small plumbing repairs, flooring repairs, wall and paint repairs, HVAC repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting in special projects as needed
• Track and complete maintenance requests within 48 hours
• Lawncare/Snow Removal
• Track time effectively
• Perform apartment make readies and turns

Qualifications:

• Experience working in residential property maintenance
• Knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies
• Capable of learning new skills quickly
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Heavy lifting ability to lift/push/pull multiple times while on shift
• Able to use hand and mechanical tools to ensure safety and completion of tasks
• Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas of maintenance
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and staff
• Must supply general maintenance tools (additional equipment provided by company)
• Must reliably transport equipment (lawnmower, snow blower, etc.) to worksite.

Experience:

• Residential Property Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required

Shift availability:

• Day Shift
• Evening Shift
• Weekends as needed
