Quality Coordinator / Classroom Support

Miss Tee's Childcare Academy

Miss Tee's Childcare Academy is seeking a Quality Coordinator / Classroom Support professional to support classroom operations, curriculum implementation, and quality standards across the center. This role combines administrative support with direct classroom coverage and is not a desk-only position.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support teachers with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain weekly lesson plan/curriculum boxes and classroom materials
  • Review classrooms for organization, learning materials, displays, and readiness
  • Assist with classroom management, behavior redirection, and transitions
  • Provide direct classroom coverage from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM daily
  • Provide additional classroom coverage as needed
  • Prepare learning centers, activities, materials, and classroom displays
  • Capture and create social media content featuring classroom activities and center events
  • Support leadership in maintaining consistent classroom expectations and quality standards
  • Complete assigned cleaning and sanitizing duties, including classroom resets, common areas, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restocking
  • Ensure classrooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for the following day
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education preferred
  • Comfortable working directly with toddlers and preschool-aged children
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience assisting with lesson planning and classroom activity preparation
  • Comfortable supporting children with challenging behaviors
  • Comfortable assisting with photo, video, and social media content
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Willing to perform cleaning and hands-on operational duties
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Must meet all applicable childcare licensing and employment requirements

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, bending, sitting on the floor, and performing physical duties associated with an early childhood classroom environment.

Salary

$13 - $14 per hour
