As a Nurse Practitioner at MIMC, your primary responsibility will be patient care—both in-person and via telemedicine. This is not a remote position, though occasional virtual work may be available.
- Provide clinical support 3-5 days per week at our Wayzata, MN office.
- Offer telemedicine support through video consultations and messaging when not in person.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and health coaches.
- Engage in weekly mentorship to review cases, expand knowledge, and enhance critical thinking.
- Take part in practice-building initiatives (e.g., networking, webinars, in-person classes, and referral partnerships).
- Passionate about integrative medicine and excited to grow in this field.
- Organized, collaborative, and proactive in both clinical and administrative work.
- A compassionate provider who genuinely cares about patient well-being.
- Comfortable with a diverse clinical practice, with a particular interest in:
- Women’s health across the lifespan (including cycling, menopause, and bHRT if appropriate).
- Complex and challenging cases requiring a functional medicine approach.
What You'll Do:
- Provide one-on-one patient care while continuously learning and refining your skills.
- Co-manage patients in collaboration with a health coach to ensure treatment plan success.
- Actively contribute to the team environment, including occasional hands-on tasks such as phlebotomy, IVs, and other nursing skills.
- Participate in educational initiatives (e.g., teaching classes, writing blog posts, contributing to social media).
What You'll Need:
- Active APRN licensure in Minnesota (in good standing with the Board of Nursing).
- DEA license (or ability to obtain one).
- 2+ years of clinical experience (telemedicine or in-person).
- Experience in integrative or functional medicine preferred (certifications not required, but a plus).
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MacBook, Google Suite, Zoom, and EHR systems (CharmEHR preferred).
- Detail-oriented and strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Passion for health and wellness, both personally and professionally.
What You'll Get:
- Schedule: Minimum 0.6 FTE (3 days/week), up to 1.0 FTE (5 days/week).
- Clinical hours: 8 AM – 3:30 PM or 9 AM – 4:30 PM (one required Friday per week).
- No 10-hour shifts available at this time.
