About the Role

Minky Designs is hiring a Seasonal Store Lead for our holiday store at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain in Lehi.

This is a hands-on, working lead position. You'll spend your shifts helping customers and selling alongside the rest of the team while also taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of the store.

We're looking for someone dependable, organized, confident with customers, and capable of being our primary point of contact for the location.

This is a seasonal position running approximately November 1 through December 31, 2026.

Compensation

• $17.00/hour base pay
• 5% commission on your individual sales
• Uncapped commission — strong sales performance directly increases your earnings

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Experience

• Welcome and engage customers
• Learn our Minky blanket styles, sizes, and colors
• Help customers select products for themselves and for gifts
• Actively sell and work toward individual and store sales goals
• Process purchases accurately through our point-of-sale system
• Deliver an excellent customer experience

Store Leadership & Operations

• Take ownership of day-to-day store operations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the seasonal store
• Help coordinate employee schedules and shift coverage
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
• Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs
• Help resolve basic customer or operational issues
• Communicate important store updates, issues, and needs to management
• Help keep the team accountable to Minky Designs' customer service and sales expectations

• Previous retail, sales, customer service, or leadership experience strongly preferred

Holiday Availability

Our holiday store operates seven days a week, and this position requires flexible availability throughout the season, including evenings and weekends.

Availability during Black Friday weekend and the weeks leading up to Christmas is especially important.

Because this is the lead position, we're looking for someone who can provide consistent availability throughout November and December and be a reliable point of contact when scheduling or store issues arise.
