Part-Time Warehouse Associate – Minky Designs

Location: Salt Lake City Area, Utah

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

About Minky Designs

Minky Designs is a growing luxury blanket company specializing in premium, ultra-soft faux-fur blankets and home accessories. We sell our products online, through major retail marketplaces, wholesale partnerships, and seasonal retail locations.

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and organized Warehouse Associate to help manage our daily warehouse operations.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities, from fulfilling customer orders to receiving shipments and keeping our warehouse organized. We're a small team, so we're looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable handling different tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

• Pick, pack, and ship daily customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipments for Shopify, Amazon, wholesale customers, and retail locations.
• Print shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
• Ensure products are properly packaged and orders are shipped on time.
• Assist with larger bulk and corporate orders as needed.

Receiving & Inventory Management

• Receive incoming shipments, including boxes, pallets, and large inventory deliveries.
• Unload, count, inspect, and organize incoming products.
• Verify received quantities against packing lists.
• Help maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Restock shelves and organize products by SKU, color, and size.
• Assist with inventory transfers and periodic physical inventory counts.

Warehouse Organization & General Operations

• Keep warehouse shelves, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Break down boxes, manage packaging supplies, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare pallets and larger shipments for freight pickups.
• Assist with organizing and moving inventory between nearby warehouse spaces.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization and efficiency.
• Help with other warehouse and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for order processing and inventory management.
• Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical warehouse work throughout the shift.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Shopify or shipping software is a plus.
