Site Reliability Engineer

 

Description

This resource will assist in building the infrastructure and pipeline development for data assets into a new AWS technology stack using technologies like Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Key Activities

  • Must provide technical functional expertise to the Engineering, DevOps, and QA teams to create and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Should be able to Coach and mentor others on Platform Engineering and DevOps best practices
  • Must be able to provide operational support for applications and utilities.
  • Should design and implement process improvements.
  • Must know and leverage SRE best practices. 
  • Should be able to assist in the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
  • Must be able to work with open-source technologies as needed.
  • Will work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GitLab.
  • Should be able to lead the team through continuous improvement of production operations.
  • Must offer technical support where needed and developing automation software to speed incident resolution.
  • You should stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.
  • Must be able to implement, configure, and operate tools and products in the DevOps and DevSecOps Toolchain. 
  • Should be able to building and maintaining tools, services, and automations associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors.
  • You should be able to continually evaluate our systems and tooling so that they can accommodate growth and continually changing requirements.
  • Should participate actively troubleshoot any issues that arise in production.
  • Should be able to update our processes/documentation and design new tools and processes as needed.
  • Should be able to deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise.
  • Must automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy, and compliant with security standards.

  1. Background check is required.
  2. 2 days a week onsite until September 2nd at which it will be every day in the office.
  3. Candidate must be USC.


Salary

$60 - $80 per hour
