Job Description:

Required experience:

•   A minimum of ten years working as a CICS Systems Programmer 

•   A minimum of ten years as a systems programmer supporting DB2 and MQ on the mainframe

•   Knowledge of all CICS parameters that control performance in a CICSPlex environment.

•   Expert knowledge of JCL. Job Control Language.

•   Knowledge of SMP/E, software upgrade and maintenance

•   In depth knowledge of CICS SMF record structure and the CICS Performance Analyzer tool to gather statistics for tuning CICS regions

•   Experience with implementation & customization, dynamic transaction routing, etc.

•   Ability to perform problem determination, dump analysis and performance tuning

•   Experienced with the CICS monitoring tools
