DevOps Engineer

Description

This resource will assist in building the infrastructure and pipeline development for data assets into a AWS technology stack using Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Key Activities

  • Must be able to defines and documents continuous integration / continuous deployment best practices
  • Should solves difficult problems with scripting language across multiple environments
  • You should be able to evaluates new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration
  • Experience to coache application developers on proper techniques for building scalable applications
  • You must have experience in automation, testing, Operations is required.
  • Must have experience in AWS, Python, API, Scripting, Ansible, Cloud
  • You must be extensive hands-on experience with configuration/build/release tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
  • Do you have experience with the Linux operating system and bash scripting?
  • You should be knowledgeable with source control tools like Git, BitBucket, Subversion, or AWS CodeCommit.
  • Are you familiar with binary/artifact repositories like Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.?
  • Do you have experience with Agile tools such as Jira or VersionOne?
  • You must be able to defines and documents continuous integration / continuous deployment best practices
  • You should solves difficult problems with scripting language across multiple environments 
  • You will be able to evaluates new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration
  • Will will act as a mentor to application developers on techniques for building scalable applications
  • You will conducts spots checks of different product teams to provide assistance to developers and operations teams to increase speed-to- market or product quality
  • You will work with partners across all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • You will work across multiple platforms and applications to understand dependencies

Salary

$60 - $80 per hour
