Description

Minder Lawns is hiring an experienced Lawn Care Technician to join our field crew. We serve residential clients across the greater Charlotte metro and surrounding counties. This role is suited to someone with prior landscaping or lawn care experience who can work efficiently and independently, and who may help guide trainees on the crew.


Responsibilities

  • Mow, edge, and trim residential properties according to scheduled routes, working efficiently and independently
  • Operate zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, pole saws, and leaf blowers
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and identify issues before they become breakdowns
  • Keep job sites clean and presentable upon completion
  • Load and unload equipment safely at the start and end of each shift
  • Follow daily route schedules, manage time across multiple stops, and communicate any issues to leadership
  • Mentor and assist trainee technicians as needed


Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • At least 1 year of prior lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience
  • Comfortable operating and maintaining commercial-grade mowing and trimming equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the workday
  • Reliable and punctual — attendance is critical in this role
  • Valid driver’s license required


Compensation & Advancement

  • $17–$20/hr based on experience
  • Performance-based pay reviews
  • Opportunity to grow into a lead technician or crew lead role
