Cook – MILK+ Nightclub & Bar


Schedule: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Pay: $20–$24 per hour (based on experience)

Experience: 1–2 years required

Location: Downtown Salt Lake City


MILK+ Nightclub & Bar is looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our late-night kitchen team. Our kitchen serves a fun, fast-paced menu designed for the nightlife crowd, and we’re looking for someone who can consistently prepare great food while keeping up with the energy of a busy nightclub environment.


You’ll work in our modern, well-equipped kitchen alongside our kitchen and management team to prepare menu items, maintain food quality and safety standards, and keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the night.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to MILK+ recipes and standards
  • Complete food prep and maintain stocked stations before and during service
  • Maintain consistent food quality, portions, and presentation
  • Handle orders efficiently during busy late-night service
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized
  • Properly store, label, rotate, and handle food products
  • Assist with opening, closing, and kitchen cleaning responsibilities
  • Communicate with other kitchen staff, bartenders, and management as needed
  • Help minimize food waste and notify management when products or supplies are running low


Who You Are

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and able to consistently work scheduled evening and late-night shifts
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and committed to food quality and cleanliness
  • Able to remain organized and productive during high-volume periods
  • Willing to learn and follow established recipes, procedures, and standards
  • Valid Utah Food Handler Permit or ability to obtain one
