Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to perform evaluations on America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's disability claims process.

The NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT will conduct examinations based on the disability claim filed, interview the Veteran, and record the results in the portal. This process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement). 

The ideal NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT candidate is able to work at least 4 to 8 hours per week. You are welcome to work more hours if desired. Training is paid at a flat fee. There are no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.

CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
• AANP or other applicable certification.
• Two years post-graduate degree experience.
• Graduate degree from regionally accredited school.
• Current state of Georgia professional license.
• Liability/malpractice insurance for self-employment.
• Reside within a reasonable distance of the work city.
• Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet local, state, and federal standards or policies.
