Role Description

This Speech Language Pathologist position is located in Fredericksburg, VA. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children, aimed at improving their communication skills. They will employ a naturalistic, integrative approach to therapy and collaborate with a team to conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for children with speech and language disorders.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or be willing to obtain licensure). Certification of Clinical Competence by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) is also a requirement. The ideal candidate should have a diverse background in working with various communication disorders and therapeutic techniques. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with a team and support families in achieving their goals for their child's communication development. Prior experience in early intervention and pediatrics is highly preferred.
