ROOFING FOREMAN & MATERIAL RUNNER

Compensation: $15 per hour, 1099 Contract Paid Weekly on Fridays via ACH

Hours: Varies – On Call, As Needed

Mighty Dog Roofing Southwest Houston is endorsed by the nation’s top manufacturers and distributors, offering our customers the best and most innovative products and services in the roofing industry. We handle roof repairs & installations for both insurance & non-insurance work.

The Roofing Foreman & Material Runner’s job is to run material to/from job sites, pick up material from distributors, and be on-site during roofing installations to pick up materials as needed, ensure the roof is being installed properly, and keep the jobsite clean.

This is an on-call, as-needed position where the most reliable people will be called upon first. We will give you at least 24-hour notice when we need you.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Picking up materials from vendor (lifting up to 50lbs) & running to job site

·        Arriving to job on installation day @ 7:00am, working as late as 7:00pm until job is complete

·        Managing job site & crew to ensure cleanliness, track job progress, and manage scope of work

·        Hanging flyers in neighborhood of job site

Other Qualifications & Requirements:

·        Bilingual – Spanish & English highly preferred

·        Driver’s license & personal vehicle required, filled with your own gas

·        Personal cell phone required to communicate, clock in, and track your location

·        Ability to work outside in the Texas weather (heat, cold, rain)

·        Arriving to a job site early on time, as early as 7:00am

·        Ability to lift 50lbs, as needed

·        No fear of getting on a roof, if needed

·        Previous roofing industry experience is a plus

·        Positive attitude & reliable work ethic

·        Clean, neat & polished professional appearance

·        Strong communication & listening skills – be responsive to calls, texts
